Privacy notice
Beta version. Version draft-2026-10. This plain-language text covers the PDR beta. It will be reviewed by a lawyer before PDR opens to everyone. During the beta, enter made-up patients only.
Who this is for
This notice explains how PDR handles personal information. A clinic that uses PDR decides what patient information it records and why; PDR stores and processes it for the clinic. For information about its own patients, ask the clinic.
What we collect and why
Account details (name, email, phone, password stored only as a one-way hash) to let you sign in and reach you about your account.
Clinic details (name, address, GSTIN, team) to run the clinic and print its documents.
Patient and appointment information that the clinic enters, to provide the clinic’s records, billing and reminders.
Technical records (sign-in times, actions on patient records, error logs) to keep the service secure and to show the clinic who did what.
Who can see it
Only the clinic’s own team, according to the roles the owner sets. PDR staff cannot open patient records. Support access is limited to technical status and needs the owner’s consent for a short, recorded period.
We use service providers to send email and take payments. They receive only what they need to do that. Messages to patients through WhatsApp are sent by the clinic from its own device; PDR prepares the text.
How it is protected
Each clinic’s data is separated at the database level. Access to patient records is logged. Backups are encrypted.
If a security incident affects personal data, we will tell the clinics affected and the authorities as the law requires.
How long we keep it
While the clinic uses PDR. After the clinic leaves, records are kept for the period it chooses to export and then deleted, except what the law requires us to keep.
Your choices and rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your information, withdraw consent, or make a complaint. For patient information, contact the clinic first; for account information, contact us.
Contact and grievances
During the beta, sign in and open Help, then Contact the PDR team, or speak to the person who invited you. A named grievance officer will be listed here before PDR opens to everyone.
